One Works is currently looking for an Architect, or engineer, to join our Sustainability team in the Milan office.
The ideal candidate should have a particular interest and the technical skills to develop energy and environmental strategies of new projects and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary design team in order to provide innovative solutions across all the design phases.
As a member of the team, you will play a large role in supporting One Works’ business strategy. You will help clients consider the environmental impact of design through services such as energy modelling, carbon consulting, envelope analysis, sustainability master planning, LEED, BREEAM & WELL consulting, and more.
Master’s degree in architecture and/or engineering- Basic knowledge of sustainability standards and protocols.
- LEED/BREEAM/WELL accreditation preferred.
- Experience in LCA and Carbon Footprint Analysis is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of strategies and systems related to energy efficiency, materials assessment, stormwater management, and other common topics.
- Basic Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and other systems as they relate to sustainable Design.
- Basic Knowledge of CAM
Duties and responsabilities
- Integrate sustainable design principles with project design team and maintain design integrity through all phases.
- Review documents to ensure quality, coordination, and compliance with the requirements of deliverables in all phases.
- Participate in the project team and consultants for appropriate materials, systems and solutions to achieve sustainable design goals.
- Review cost estimates and conduct value analysis on sustainable design initiatives.
- Fully aware of current trends in the industry.
- Does research on materials and design options available in sustainable design.
